GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Western Slope Now has obtained photos of a car that crashed into a popular local restaurant the weekend of February 4th. The silver passenger car crashed into the east side of the Handlebar Tap House Restaurant.

On Sunday, Feb., 5, at around 8:50 a.m., Grand Junction Police Officers responded to reports of a vehicle that crashed into a building located at Broadway and Monument Rd.

Officers arrived on the scene to find significant damage to the building, a fire hydrant, and an electrical box. Officers did not find the driver, who remains unknown.

It was just last month a man plowed his full-sized pickup truck through the front door into the lobby of the Grand Junction Police Department. He was later arrested and now faces a slew of charges including attempted murder.
