Congressional Law Makers Denounce Hate Crimes Against Asian Americans


NEW YORK (KDVR) — Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus held a press conference to discuss a number videos going viral showcasing violent attacks against Asian Americans.
Since March, one organization collected almost 3000 reports of anti-Asian hate throughout the country. New York congresswoman Grace Meng introduced a resolution which passed in the house in September, condemning all forms of anti-Asian bigotry.
Lawmakers agree addressing these hate crimes will take effort from all levels of government.
