GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Mesa County Public Health Director Jeff Kuhr sat down with KREX 5’s Shelby Bracho to talk about concerns surrounding COVID-19.

The health department wants community members to know, if you’re exhibiting Coronavirus symptoms then contact your healthcare provider.

Local healthcare agencies are asking potential patients to call instead of showing up in person.

If you don’t have a healthcare provider, Mesa County Public Health is the place to contact.

MCPH has a hotline set up for people with questions and concerns, the hotline is (970) 683-2300.

If you think you need to be tested, the health department will go through a series of screening questions before making you an appointment.
