GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Lucky Me, just made local history as the first dispensary to open its doors in Grand Junction.
In March, the city of Grand Junction selected ten marijuana stores for retail marijuana licenses. Those stores must open for business within a year of receiving their license.
Lucky Me launched its soft opening on Oct. 10 here at Patterson and 26 and a Half Road. They are using the time before their official grand opening to work out any issues and experiment with new brands.
Manager Nicolas Pinto tells WesternSlopeNow.com during their soft opening they offer 10 different brands. But when they officially open he says they’ll offer a larger variety and possibly, he claims, the most extensive selection in the valley.
Lucky Me plans to hold its grand opening in the next two weeks. Pinto tells us they’ll have food trucks and vendors who can explain more about their products.
