Grand Junction Soccer Take On Cherokee Trail

Game Ends In 3-3 Draw

The Grand Junction Tigers looked to bounce back from an overtime loss to Chaparral (a loss they suffered one day before their matchup against Cherokee Trail High School.)

The Game was tied 2-2 when our cameras got to the game but that didn’t last long as freshman Luis Aguirre, not only drew a foul but put home a header off the free kick.

But with minuets to go senior Andres Edwinson put home one of the sweetest goals you might see all year (WATCH THE HIGHLIGHTS) to tie the game at 3-3.

Nobody could end up scoring the golden goal, so the game ended in a 3-3 draw. GJHS’s next game is at Montrose Wednesday.
