The Grand Valley Highland Games display a weekend of Celtic culture, couture, and cuisine. From highland dancers to heavy athletics, there will be various unique attractions that represent Scotland and Ireland.
Members of the Celtic community enjoy this weekend to embrace the heritage they grew up with among others.
“Sometimes people come and visit with us and don’t have a least idea about who their family is and we can give him some direction,” Robert Cameron shares, “Many times it makes no difference where they think they came from they may have a Scottish connection.
The Highland Games are happening all weekend at Mesa County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the gate.
KREX 5 and FOX 4 news is a proud sponsor of the event spearheaded by Taylor’s Croft.
