I-70 Eastbound reopens after mudslide


REMOTE — CDOT says Eastbound I-70 is now open. Westbound lanes remain closed until later this evening. The full statement has been posted below:

UPDATE 3 PM: Eastbound I-70 is open in Glenwood Canyon. Closure points for eastbound traffic have reopened (Exit 87/West Rifle and Exit 116/Glenwood Springs). Westbound traffic continues to be closed, with the closure point at Exit 133 (Dotsero). Crews are working to remove the mudslide debris from the westbound lanes. At this time we estimate westbound lanes will reopen mid to late evening tonight (Monday, June 28).
