GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Coloradans are back on the move.
Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) reports westbound I-70 is now reopened between Exit 133 – Dotsero and Exit 129 – Bair Ranch.
CDOT road cameras are still showing inclement conditions through Glenwood Canyon. Use extreme caution when traveling this weekend, as two accidents already happened Friday on I-70.
The region along that stretch of I-70 is under a Winter Weather Advisory with 5″-10″ of more snow expected through Saturday afternoon and gusty wind speeds that will contribute to lowered visibility.
Western Slope Now will continue to monitor for accidents and road closures.
