MESA COUNTY, Colo. – Ute Water Conservancy District experienced a waterline break this morning at the intersection of 25 Road and Patterson Road. A 4-inch line located at the intersection was capped off when the District upgraded the line years ago. Around 7:00 A.M. this morning, the cap failed due to old age, causing the waterline to leak.
Traffic control is in place in all four directions near and at the intersection to allow crews to make the necessary repairs safely. The waterline break was isolated and there is currently one business out of water. Repairs are estimated to be made by 8:00 P.M.
Traffic control will be in place for the remainder of the repair. For the safety of our crews, we ask that motorist avoid the area if possible. Updates on the repair will be made on Ute Water Conservancy District’s Facebook page.
