GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The state of Colorado gives every school in the state a yearly score based on their academic achievement. The state gives points to schools to assign these ratings, the more points, the better. D51 had 27 schools receive a performance rating, the highest level of achievement Colorado recognizes during the 2022-2023 school year.
Superintendent Dr. Brian Hill’s goal for this school year is to have 90 percent of D51’s schools reach either the improvement or performance rating.
