GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Mesa Mall today hosted this year's Safety Fair, a Grand Junction tradition nearly four decades in the making.
The fair is a two-day event that has now become a staple of the Grand Valley.
Kids and their families can learn from 30 different exhibitors: presenters from law enforcement, health care, and even the National Weather Service, just to name a few.
Each booth has interactive set ups that teach kids things like avoiding lightning strikes, CPR, and how to properly wash their hands, with the ultimate goal being to educate children on how to be safe in a variety of different situations.
The safety fair will continue tomorrow, February 22nd, from 9 am to 3 pm in the Mesa Mall, and it's free to attend.
For more information on the fair, and ways to stay safe in any situation, visit the Mesa County Safety Council's website.
