MESA COUNTY– A man arrested in an online child solicitation sting was sentenced this morning.
Robert Woodruff will serve 4 years in Mesa County Community Corrections.
This stems from conversations he thought were with a 14-year-old boy, that was actually a CBI agent.
When both sides made their arguments, the prosecutor says she believes this was not the first time Woodruff made contact with a minor based on the recorded conversation.
Woodruff’s defense says he has no significant criminal history and takes accountability for his crime.
Community corrections is a residential program similar to a work-release program.
Woodruff will also register as a sex offender.
