GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- If you’re coughing, have a fever, or a sore throat, you might be wondering if you have Covid-19. However, we are entering Flu season, and those symptoms can also mean you have Influenza.
Health expert Jeff Kuhr from Mesa County Public Health Department said the main difference between the two illness is the cough. Influenza is going to have a cough that produces phlegm, while COVID-19 will have a dry cough.
It is recommended to get the flu shot as soon as possible, “This year you should get the flu shot, because the last thing we want is COVID-19 and Influenza at the same time.” Jeff Kuhr.
