A new low: Less than 400 Coloradans currently hospitalized with COVID-19

DENVER– More than 41,000 people have been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Colorado, but Tuesday afternoon, Governor Polis announced less than 400 Coloradans are currently hospitalized with the virus– a new low since the virus gripped the state.

The governor also said thank you to people wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and taking their actions seriously, as the exponential growth of the virus in colorado has ‘leveled out’.

“In the beginning, we saw an exponential rise in cases. Each person was spreading the virus to three or four other people. We acted quickly, we acted boldly.” – Gov. Jared Polis
