Adult Colorado residents are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine booster

Local News

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo — Anyone 18 years of age or older can get a booster shot if you have waited six months after either your second Pfizer or Moderna shot.

Those who had Johnson and Johnson have to wait two months after their first shot to get a booster.

The CDC just classified Mesa County as a high transmissible area because of the critically high spike in recent positive COVID-19 cases.

Children ages 5-11 can also get a vaccine with an online appointment only through Mesa County Public Health’s website.
