GRAND JUNCTION, Colo – The greater Grand Junction area economy is catching the attention of people all across the nation.
The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce is seeing growth in numerous sectors and attributes the outdoor recreation as a perfect match for the new work from home setting. The economic growth is also being felt at the Mesa Mall where new stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dillards and Home Goods are preparing to open for business.
Growth in malls is not a national trend. While malls across the country are facing hardships, the Mesa Mall is adding new stores with major brand names. CEO & President of the Chamber, Diane Schwenke, says this isn’t a surprise because people drive for miles to shop in Grand Junction, the largest city between Salt Lake City and Denver.
