GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s event is over but the Alzheimer’s Association never stops the fight to find a cure. The organization needs volunteers which make all the difference.
5.8 million Americans are living with disease, including 73,000 Coloradans, and that number is expected to rise.
Alzheimer’s has no prevention, no treatment, and no cure, but thanks to volunteers, research to find a cure is at the fastest pace in history.
Alzheimer’s deaths have increased 145% since 2000, but the Alzheimer’s Association is here to help.
