Amber Alert: 12-year-old Aurora boy, reports of sightings on Western Slope

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — UPDATE: Liam Sweezy has been found safe.

ORIGINAL: An Amber Alert has been issued for a 12-year-old boy from Aurora, Colorado. The boy is believed to be with his mother and her car was last seen in the Aurora area, but there have been reports of sightings on the Western Slope according to our affiliate station in Denver, KDVR.

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, 12-year-old Liam Sweezy was last seen in Aurora on June 26th.

He is believed to be with his mother Nikki Sweezy, you see both of their pictures here provided on the Amber Alert.

They were last seen driving a 2010 Blue Honda Fit hatchback with a Colorado license plate B-V-V-9-3-7.

It is reported Liam has a medical condition that requires him to take medication. Liam was last seen wearing a green shirt and green shorts, and Nikki Sweezey was last seen wearing a burgundy shirt and black pants.
