Attic fire leaves one man displaced

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on New Year’s Day, the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to reports of smoke coming from an attic. Crews extinguished the fire but remained on scene to look for hot spots. The local Red Cross also is assisting in this situation.
