With the recent passing of Deputy Derek Geer, and the loss of other law enforcement officers this year, Palisade Police are hoping to remind communities to “never stop believing.”

Singing and dancing away to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” Detective Mark Post and Officer Bryce Raber have reached over 100,000 views, 2,000 likes, and 3,000 shares in just 24-hours.

The video is being shared all over the country from right here in Grand Junction, Colorado to Rochester, New York.

Palisade Police Chief Deb Funston says she is blown away by how quickly the video took off online on Monday.

Chief Funston says she hopes this post will not only put a smile on viewer’s faces, but will send a positive message.

“I think this is their way.. and I thought it was a very unique fun way… to get the message out that not only do they care about their fellow officers, but they care about their community, and they want the community to believe,” Funston said.

Chief Funston says it’s important to remind everyone that law enforcement officers are human and also like to have a little bit of fun too.
