GRAND JUNCTION– The Bureau of Land Management is under fire due to a lawsuit filed earlier this week.

Three conservation groups sued the BLM Tuesday to require more information on a proposed oil and gas drilling plan.

The lawsuit calls for the BLM to provide more analysis on the climate risk of this plan.

Conservation groups say this plan covers nearly a million acres of public lands in Western Colorado.

The BLM, which recently announced the relocation of its headquarters to Grand Junction, told us it cannot comment on pending litigation.
