Local News

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Twas’ the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas trees were already being sold.

On Black Friday, local boy scouts opened their Christmas tree lot in efforts, to raise some cash.

Boy scout troops 303, 323, and 353 have been raising money, by selling Christmas trees for the past 30 years. This year, you can find them on the northeast corner of Sutherlands parking lot, near the Mesa Mall. The scouts will be at that location Wednesday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Your opportunity to get a tree will end on December 15th, so think fast.
In purchasing a tree from the scouts, you are allowing them to go on a summer camp trip, this summer.
