Businesses Bind Together to Repair Flagpole

Local News

Two local companies joined together to make sure a broken flagpole can continue waving the American flag proudly.

After weather and natural wear-and-tear ended up bringing the Rocky Mountain Gun Club’s American flag down overnight, the club searched around town for a crane service that could restore the flag to its natural spot.

They reached out to Winslow Crane Service, who decided to trade services instead of a financial transaction.

Now the gun club has a repaired flagpole, while Winslow Crane Service employees can now enjoy the shooting range the gun club offers.

“This is a big reason why we all live in this community, it’s that we’re still a ‘good ol’ boy town.’ One person sees another person in need and helps them out, and we’re just glad to be a part of the community like this where there’s goodwill and good fellowship all around”, says Sabra Lin O’Crotty the General Manager of the RMGC.

The flagpole was repaired within an hour.
