Caprock Academy Announces Graduation Speaker, Mr. Tim Foster at the Ninth Annual Commencement Ceremony

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Caprock Academy is pleased to announce the commencement ceremony of the ninth class of graduating seniors. The ceremony will take place on the south lawn of the Caprock Academy campus located at 714 24 ½ Road, Grand Junction, on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.

The class of 2021 is the largest graduating class for Caprock Academy in its fourteen years of operation. Forty-two students will attend graduation. We are pleased to announce the guest speaker Mr. Tim Foster, CMU President and the Faculty speaker is Mr. Tim Van Schaick, a current Humanities Teacher at Caprock Academy High School and recently named Co-Coach of the Year for Boys Basketball by CHSAA.

Senior class Valedictorian, Max Witwer and Salutatorian Kale Dohrman (was recently awarded the distinguished Daniels Fund Scholarship, the seventh student to receive this honor from Caprock Academy), will also be speaking to those in attendance. The graduation will last approximately an hour and a half with guest speakers and the high school band and choir performing.  

Caprock Academy is a Public K-12 Charter School and is tuition-free. Enrollment is open to any student. The school focuses on the classical education methodology, core knowledge curriculum, and the importance of character education. Admission and Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year are now open.
