GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Veteran’s Association held a special information session.
The event at the Veterans One Source catered to clergy members working with combat veterans. These annual sessions are a way for clergy members to listen to veteran’s concerns. The sessions take place throughout rural Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. They create an open conversation providing veterans with the community support they need.
The V.A. says there is a huge gap today between the military and local population. It is also a way for veterans to reach out to someone outside the V.A.
