GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.
Governor Polis talked about many agenda items at the Club 20 Conference.
One of these items is full day kindergarten, and how it can help families, and the state. Governor Polis says by providing full day kindergarten, it frees up parents to return to work and put those dollars back into the Colorado economy.
The governor says the best way to battle the achievement gap, from factors like income, geography, and race, is by providing children with a strong start from full day kindergarten.
