CMU Launches Phase Four of “Stay Together” Plan With Music Video

Local News

CMU is back in session Monday and students are anxious to get going. Anticipating a new semester, the university put a message on moving forward with a music video starring students who are confident in being safe from COVID-19 and happy on campus.

The gist of the message is that better days are ahead.

“Doing something that was goofy and fun and silly but also gives everybody their information and amps everybody up for the next semester is a really exciting way to come into the spring;” Tilley Leeder reflects, “… and that was kinda what the music video was for me, just a way to show my fellow students that we can have fun in the midst of everything being hard and confusing.”

Social distance and wearing masks are still a thing, but even graduating seniors are able to stay positive while testing negative.

“We want to remind people that there is still a lot to look forward to and that we can still connect with each other and be happy and have good times despite the masks and the distance.” Isaiah Gundermann-Graham shares.

Health and safety remain top priority where CMU is geared for any change to become normal.
