Colorado Humanities’ awards more than $700,000 to organizations across the state

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo — Colorado Humanities’ mission is to inspire people to learn about Colorado’s diverse cultural heritage by funding grants.

The grants will help Western Slope towns give Coloradans a glimpse into the past.

Here is a list of some of the organizations that received grants.

Bud Werner Memorial Library in Steamboat Springs received $18,000.

The Interpretive Association of Western Colorado in Delta received $2,600.

Museum of the Mountain West, Inc. received $18,000.

Museums of Western Colorado received $16,000.
