GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Colorado Mesa University officials made a major announcement this week regarding the cost of education.
CMU announced plans to offer any student in a family making less than $65,000 a year a free education, up to a bachelor’s degree. CMU officials advise the program will not rely on taxpayers but instead depend on leftover state funds.
CMU plans to begin the problem in the Fall 2024 semester.
