GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Colorado Welcome Centers’ are chock-full of information, from local activities to statewide history.
All ten Colorado Welcome Centers introduced their new wall-sized, illustrated state maps. The maps had not been replaced for 25 years.
Unlike previous maps, the new ones do not use a legend. The use of artwork and easy-to-read print is thought to be more user-friendly. The maps are said to be a vital tool for volunteer travel experts.
Beyond the changes in design, updates were added to map roadways, travel attractions, and historical designations.
