Colorado’s new Chair GOP visits Grand Junction

Grand Junction, Colo. – The newly-elected chair of the Colorado GOP Kristi Burton Brown paid Grand Junction a visit today, and says she is excited for the direction the Colorado Republican Party is headed.

She aims to advocate for agricultural workers’ rights here in Mesa County, and hopes to bring her new ideas to the forefront of agricultural rights in Colorado as well, “We stand with our farmers and ranchers. We believe legislation that passes in Denver and Boulder shouldn’t hurt our farmers on the Eastern Plains and the Western Slope. They deserve a voice at the capitol so we’re going to elect people who are going to represent them well and who grew up building these industries on the Western Slope,” says Burton-Brown.

She intends to support not only the agriculture industry here on the Western Slope however, but the energy sector as well.
