MESA COUNTY, Colo. — At a time when everyone is asked to remain at home, a local senior service, Comfort Keepers, wants to make sure its community knows the importance of companionship, even though it may look a little different these days.
The Comfort Keepers staff assembled care packages for people it usually serves, and anyone else in the community who could use some extra love.
The packages include a deck of playing cards, a water cup, disinfectant items, and some snacks.
The Comfort Keepers team took precautions to disinfect all the items, placed directions to dump the items of the bag on a sanitary surface and to discard the bag and wash hands before enjoying.
If you are someone you know would appreciate a care package, give Comfort Keepers a call at (970) 232-2165. The organization is also accepting donations to keep the kindness going.
