GRAND JUNCTION- Community organizations and agencies are coming together to help homeless individuals get back to loved ones this holiday season.
You can help by attending the “Home for the Holidays” fundraising breakfast from 6 a.m.-9 a.m. on Nov. 8 at the First Presbyterian Church at 3940 27 1/2 Rd.
The event is being put on by “The House” organization, which helps homeless youth.
Money raised will go to the Traveler’s Aid Fund. It’s a fund the Grand Junction Police Department uses to help homeless individuals get back to family members and communities where they can find opportunity.
Tickets for the event are $12 and can be purchased here. All proceeds go directly to the Traveler’s Aid Fund.
