COVID in Western Colorado: 7/20/2020 Case Update

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — According to Johns Hopkins University, there are now over 3.7 Million positive cases in the US with now more than 140,000 COVID-19 fatalities.

In Colorado, there are now more than 40,000 positive cases according to the Department of Public Health and Environment’s website. The state has also confirmed 1,752 deaths with COVID-19 complications. There are no new deaths to report since Sunday evening.

Globally, we have passed the 14.3 Million positive case mark with a little more than 603,000 COVID-19 fatalities.

According to Mesa County Public Health’s most recent update, the county has 191 positive cases, an increase of three since Saturday.

Montrose County has 234 cases according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s website, representing an increase of two since Saturday. From that same data source, Delta County has increased by two, to a total of 88 positive cases. Garfield County now has 519 positive cases, an increase of 14 new cases, and Gunnison county has 200 positive cases.
