GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — School District Officials are speaking out after Monday’s stabbing at Grand Junction High School.

School District 51 wants to reassure concerned parents and address school safety.

One District 51 official says these incidents were isolated, and not threatening to the entire student body. Another district official says parents can take action by supporting Measure 4A, which will ask voters this November to approve a $189 million bond measure that includes building a brand new Grand Junction high school.
