D51 Lunch Lizard returns, schedule released

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo – District 51’s mobile summer lunch program, the Lunch Lizard is back.

The Lunch Lizard is in its seventh year, providing free meals to children 18 years and younger. Breakfast and lunch will be offered each weekday, with two breakfasts and lunches provided on Thursdays. On weekends, meals are provided through Kids Aid and/or Food Bank of the Rockies.

A list of locations and menus is available on the school district’s website.

The Lunch Lizard will be in service until July 30th, with no service planned the week of July 4th.
