CLIFTON, Colo. - A drive-by shooting sends one victim to the hospital early Saturday morning.
A call came in at 5 a.m. where an 18-year-old male victim was shot at a house on the 450 block of Countryside Lane.
Deputies from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office responded and found multiple gunshots to the garage area.
The man was shot in the upper body and is now in the hospital with serious but non-life threatening conditions, according to MSCO.
They add that this is an isolated incident and they are still actively investigating.

Around 5:00 am, deputies responded to a report of a shooting on the 450 block of Countryside Lane.
Deputies located a house with multiple gunshots to the garage area. An 18-year-old male inside of the home was injured. He was taken a local hospital by private vehicle prior to the arrival of deputies. The male sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body, and while a serious injury, not considered life threatening at this time.
Investigators continue to collect evidence related to this crime and interview witnesses. Countryside Lane at D ½ Road remains closed while deputies investigate.
At this point of the investigation, authorities believe this to be an isolated incident.
