Armando Bandomo appeared with his defense in hopes having his bond lowered.
Bandomo’s defense began their argument by referencing that Bandomo has been in the United States since 2001, but a judge cited that Bandomo was charged with illegal entry into the country in 2004.
His bond is currently set at $50,000 and it will remain at $50,000 with GPS monitoring added in to try and assure Bandomo will not flee.
His defense said that if he is released, he will be living with his son Armando Bandomo-Hernandez in Aurora, Colorado. Bandomo-Hernandez is also one of the suspects in this involving a potential drug trafficking organization in Mesa County. This organization is alleged to have been illegally growing cannabis, when the defendants were arrested 90 pounds of cannabis was siezed and over 1,000 plants.
