Yoan Esquijarosa-Aguila, last appeared in court while in custody several weeks ago. Esquijarosa-Aguila was asking to leave for Miami, and it seems that wish has come true for Esquijarosa-Aguila.
Esquijarosa-Aguila was out of custody, and his defense said he did in fact fly in from Miami for this hearing.
His defense asked for extra time, as Esquijarosa-Aguila has a new lawyer on this case.
The defense also brought up the difficulties due to both language and geographical barriers, with Esquijarosa-Aguila residing in Florida now.
During the initial hearings and arrests, officials stated the people arrested in this operation were all Cuban Nationals and had strong ties in Florida.
