Blake Leany from Starvin’ Arvin’s showed us this morning how to make a simple and quick cheesecake for a thanksgiving desert. He said this is a good way to contribute a dessert without too much hastle. The recipe is simple he says you take:

  • 1 package of room temperature cream cheese
  • 1 Cup of Sour Cream
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tub of whipped cream
  • 2 tsp. of Vanilla

Take these and mix them together, then Spoon into a Grahm Cracker Crust. Then if you really want to be fancy, you can add a topping from a can of cherries, strawberries, or another fruit of your choice and viola, a homemade cheesecake. It’s that simple, and that quick. Blake told us that you can eat it right away, but it also works well to refrigerate and let it solidify a bit for later.

Blake told us none of the Western Slope’s Starvin’ Arvin’s have this on the menu, but that it’ll be more than welcome at your thanksgiving dinner.
