GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – With the high demand for early childhood programs in Mesa County, Eureka! McConnell Science Museum takes the chance to provide kids with a quality preschool education. This full program gives what kids need during this stage of life, which include lessons on reading, writing, and making friends.

It’s only the first day for this preschool, but the museum is ready to grow and expand as much as possible.

“We are ready to go. Our curriculum is ready,” Eureka! Operation Manager Austin Solko expresses, “Ms. Joy and Miss Ashley, our two teachers, have done a great job preparing this room, the curriculum, and getting ready for all the kids.”

Nest Preschool keeps a hands-on curriculum interactive by incorporating science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. The preschool will also coordinate and lead off-site field trips for kids to have learning experiences into the community.

Each preschooler enrolled also gets a free family membership to the Eureka! McConnell Science Museum. Although registration is closed for this school year, applications for next school year will become available in January.
