A recent affidavit was released detailing a police report filed against two Red Rock Auto Group employees who allegedly committed forgery and identity theft. One of the employees, Tiffany Miller, who was fired and arrested is now alleging she did what she did because of pressure from Red Rock. We reached out to Red Rock and were provided with this statement.
“Red Rock is committed to honesty and integrity in every aspect of our business and our relationships with our many valued customers. That is why when we learned of Ms. Miller’s conduct, we swiftly investigated the matter and ended our employment relationship with the employee. Ms. Miller was hired in part on the basis of her extensive experience with other dealers in the area, and worked here for only a few months before Red Rock determined it must end her employment. The company is of course grateful that the authorities are looking further into the this matter. Even before the current charges against Ms. Miller arose, Red Rock hired a new Compliance Officer with extensive regulatory experience in the auto industry. The Compliance Officer is responsible for promoting compliance with state and federal regulations governing our industry. He conducts regular training for our sales teams, audits sales transactions and works to protect information supplied by our customers. These are just a few reasons why our customers can expect a fair, open and secure sales experience at our dealership. We are proud of our compliance efforts at Red Rock, and equally proud of our contributions to the Grand Junction community, including providing volunteers at an area soup kitchen, supporting community music events, festivals, local schools and their sport teams and being the title sponsor of the Grand Junction Fire Fighter Turkey Trot each year. These events, and many others, help us express our gratitude to a community that has been exceedingly supportive of Red Rock, support we fully expect will grow in years to come.”
We will also be interviewing Red Rock officials in the near future.
