FRUITA, Colo.- Students in Fruita Monument High School’s robotics class spent first period learning about these high tech robots.
Their teachers? The Grand Junction Police Department Bomb Squad.
Members of the squad explained the mechanics behind their robots, and how they’re used to keep communities safe.
Officers performed different demonstrations with the robots, and discussed the importance of robotics in the future of the workforce.
Monday morning’s demonstration helped expose the students to the many possibilities of robotics and automation.
