Full interview: Diane Mitsch Bush, Democratic Candidate for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District

MESA COUNTY, Colo. — KREX 5’s Adrian Thomas interviewed Diane Mitsch Bush Monday about her plans for the Western Slope if elected as a U.S. House Representative. She is Lauren Boebert’s opponent. The Democratic Candidate for Colorado’s Third Congressional District expresses her interest in rural communities on the Western Slope.

In 2006, Bush was elected Routt County Commissioner, District 3. Bush also served as a State Representative for Colorado House District 26 – Eagle and Routt County from 2013-2017. During that time, Bush held a strong bipartisan record.

From 2017-2018, Diane ran for the US House in Colorado’s Third Congressional District. She won the 2018 three-person Democratic primary with 64% of a vote. She lost the 2018 General Election to incumbent Scott Tipton (R-Cortez) by 7.97%.
