GJHS stabbing suspect appears in court

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A Grand Junction High School student charged in October’s on-campus stabbing appeared in court Wednesday.

The student is facing five charges total, including second-degree assault and menacing for the incident on October 21st.

The juvenile is accused of stabbing another student at least six times. This juvenile remains in custody.

Wednesday’s pre-trial hearing resulted in a continuance scheduled for after Thanksgiving.
