Local News

MESA COUNTY, Colo.- Gov. Jared Polis directed the state health department Wednesday to find a way to reduce teen vaping.

In Mesa County alone, about 31% of high school students currently vape according to Mesa County Public Health.

Some states around the country have already imposed vaping bans or strict regulations on vaping-related products.

Mesa County Public Health is learning all it can about the vaping issue, and working with local officials such as those at District 51 Schools to try and combat teen vaping.
