Governor Polis visited Grand Junction on Friday. The Governor stopped at communities and towns along I-70 to sign bills from this years legislative session. In Grand Junction He signed two bills and took part in a roundtable with local healthcare workers.
One bill is aimed at lowering health insurance premiums by nearly 25%. The bill will affect those who buy their own insurance, like people who are self employed and small business owners. The second Bill Gov. Polis signed seeks the continuation of the River Outfitting Advisory Committee.
