GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — The Grand Junction Fire Department received a well-deserved holiday gift from national flooring retailer Lumber Liquidators (now LL Flooring) as a special thank-you for the department’s dedicated work to keep the community safe during the challenges of 2020.

LL Flooring commissioned its long-time partner, Pennwood Products, to hand-craft a wooden American flag made from 50-year-old legacy pinewood to donate to the GJFD.

LL Flooring and Pennwood are also donating the wood-made flags to four other fire departments across the country to recognize the first responders for their critical services this year.
