Grand Junction Prepares for Season’s First Winter Storm

Local News

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- As a winter storm approaches the Grand Valley, city officials aren’t taking any chances.

The city’s Street System’s team treated some roads across the community Tuesday afternoon. But the bulk of the work will be done Tuesday evening and into Wednesday morning.

That’s because temperatures will reach below freezing overnight and can pose a major risk if snow and ice accumulate on streets.
