Officer-Involved Shooting Leaves 1 Adult Suspect Seriously Injured

GRAND JUNCTION. -- At about 10:49 a.m. on Sunday, the Grand Junction Regional Communications Center received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle. The reporting party said the vehicle was speeding and swerving on the I-70 Business Loop and that it appeared there were people arguing in the vehicle.

A short time later, a vehicle matching the description was located in the 400 Block of Coronado Court. A witness said they saw a male pulling a female subject into a residence and that she appeared to be in distress.
